Hi, here is my 2 cents, whatever it is worth.

First your "chicken and the egg" theory Lumoo is pretty much right on.

"We don't do much, because people don't play, and people don't play, because we don't do much."

When I joined Veturi, we were a pretty big contender, with lots of peeps playing online, which increased the chances we would be raiding somewhere at some point.  Something happened about 6-8 weeks ago where when the vote failed to pick up guild and move servers, people who wanted to move servers just picked up and left anyways.  Unfortunately, this split the guild and has made it harder for everyone still left to keep things going the way they were.  Simple fact is, things can't and won't be the way they were until Veturi can build up again its dedicated member player base.  Players predominantly in the Euro playing time-zone, players who play often in that time-zone, and players who concentrate on developing their mains.

People have their own agendas/needs and expectations about playing this game in their real life spare time.  So it's no suprise when people announce their departure.  I honestly feel that this guild is a good European time-zone guild with potential.  I wish you luck Ravin. Hope to run into you again.

It doesn't matter, it still needs to go from the messageboard server to my computer over the internet, depending on connection speed, bandwith, server performance blah blah blah.. I'm just saying it takes a bit longer to view the thread.. I suppose I could increase my cache or something  well Tongue

Well it's cool, but kinda heavy on the bandwith....
Take a bit to load up this thread.

Thanks for the advice Zillia.

One more question if you know off the top of your head.  At about what level can a druid start foraging for these things in thurg?(other zone?) thanks.

looked,  maybe I'm missing something?
6  The History: mostly inactive / EverQuest Talk / Oh Tweedle? on: July 02, 2003, 05:34:13
Hey Zillia, if I provide you the stuff, you think you could make this for me
pretty please?
Leatherfoot Haversack

Some of the combines are just halfling combines, but I can at least
make the acorn oil for you. Please tell me what ingrediantes you need. I may or may not be able to provided 'foraged' items, depending on availability in bazaar etc.

Who is hosting the message boards?
How long will you be hosting it for?
As you said your prior posts that you
were considering on shutting it down in.

Will it help any to say that I DID have Words of Torment, but I deleted it?  Shocked

Trying to remember where it dropped...  Roll Eyes

Oh yeah!  It dropped off a shimmering Genoid in WL.. No kidding, and I'm not just saying it to get you down there and help me kill stuff.  Grin

Since I've gotta make sporatic runs down there, I'll make sure I save any words I get for you!

Well Weekdays Mon-Thur I'm usually in game GMT 10AM - 3PM which is  I think 11AM - 4pm U.K. time, which is EST 6AM - 11AM.

Fridays I'm on usually: GMT 10am - 6pm ( can pull all nighter if necessary)

ANYWAYS just to give you an idea.  There is a spawn timer tracker in the Veturi Only section.  If you're up and track phinny, can you please fill it in with the times and stuff so we can figure out his spawn cycle?

11  The History: mostly inactive / EverQuest Talk / Thank You on: June 16, 2003, 02:54:41
I would like to thank those of you who have helped me
with my epic pieces at Venril Sathir (killed and got piece) and
at Phinny (Killed but no piece).  Special thanks goes to
Stting/Ninjha for tracking and Tweedledea/Zillia for helping
mobilize the troops!

I have my eye still on Phinny and Broken Golem in Fear.
Especially in need of trackers for both zones.

Thanks for your help!

13  The History: mostly inactive / EverQuest Talk / Re:Gratzz Ninjha for completing epic! on: June 16, 2003, 02:48:00
Gratz Ninjha, I really wish I could have been there.  I'm not sure what I was doing at the time, online, offline, or in bazaar.  Anyways congrats.
Also thanks for your help in my epic struggle as well.

14  The History: mostly inactive / EverQuest Talk / Re:What Nethack monster are you? on: June 16, 2003, 02:45:25
If I were a NetHack monster, I would be a trapper. Why bother going anywhere? I don't mind hanging around. All things come to those who wait.

Hmm kinda goes against the nature of a wizzy.
